![]() ![]() I much prefered the studio to the regular cabin by far. My only complaint about the inside room was how noisy it was compared to the studio room. I have sailed the getaway twice, both solo but once in the studio rooms and once in an inside room on the 5th floor. I really have no idea what to expect, I've never sailed with NCL before, so any tips or experiences sailing solo will help. I would love for anyone who has sailed in any of these solo cabins to chime in. Something about the constant sound of running water from the other cabins bathroom. I also read in one of the bazillion threads I've read that it is best to have a cabin that faces the outer hallway as opposed to having another solo cabin at your back. I actually called NCL but the young woman I spoke with clearly had no idea, she didn't even know if the lounge could be accessed on both deck 10 and on deck 11. I have no idea if the cabin I've chosen (11501) on deck 11, which looks (on the deck plans) like it is right next to the lounge, is close to it or as far away as humanly possible. I see an icon for a staircase in the upper left hand corner on both deck 10 & 11 lounge diagrams, but no marking that would indicate a door. If it is followed by a letter it is a standard cabin with A being the most desired location.Īs example a Mini Suite MA is in a more desired location than a Mini Suite MB.I can't see how to enter the lounge from the deck plans. If the letter is followed by a number it is a specialty cabin. The primary categories are S=Suite, M=Mini Suites, B=Balconies, O=Oceanview, I=Inside, and T=Studio. Norwegian uses a two digit code for its categories. You will find diagrams, pictures and information about that cabin category including square footage and For detailed information, mouse over a cabin on the deck plans and a pop up window will appear. The detail above shows subcategory color, category name, and subcategory name. The only difference in the subcategories is usually location on the ship. The cruise line separates the different categories (Inside, Oceanview, Balcony) into subcategories. This means that they tend to have less noise issues from public areas on the ship. * The cabins on this deck are above and below decks with only cabins on them. They are the same size and offer the same features as more expensive midship cabins. * Save money and book a forward or aft cabin in the same category you are looking for. * Forward facing oceanview cabins have large round window that looks over bow of ship. Part of the balcony of the cabin nearby can also be viewed by person standing on angled part of the balcony * Balconies with ends that angle (shape of triangle) offer more space but as a result part of the balcony is not private. Aft facing balconies on decks 9, 10 and 12 are the largest Aft facing balconies on deck 13 and14 are the smallest of all the aft cabins. * All balconies facing the aft of the ship are at 50 to 100 square feet (Larger for corner suites). This view down will appear less obstructed the higher up on the ship you are * All port side and starboard side balconies will view part of the ship (deck, roof, lifeboat, balcony) when looking straight down from the balcony. ![]() * Forward Penthouse cabins 1316 have only a small side balcony enclosed in a steel hull Cabin: 13894 Ship: Norwegian Breakaway - Members onlyĬlick links below to view cabin categories details.Cabin: 13884 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13832 Ship: Norwegian Breakaway - Members only.Cabin: 13804 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13736 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13728 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13704 Ship: Norwegian Breakaway - Members only.Cabin: 13655 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13306 Ship: Norwegian Breakaway - Members only.Cabin: 13272 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13190 Ship: Norwegian Getaway - Members only.Cabin: 13190 Ship: Norwegian Breakaway - Members only.Links for cabins pictures are a membership feature and are limited on the public site Videos for on this deck for this ship and also on the sister ships.
